Odense is well connected to both national and international railway and is therefore easily reached by train.

The national railway is operated by the Danish Railway Company (DSB) and connects from all major towns to Odense

From Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup)

If you arrive at the airport, tickets for the journey are available from the DSB ticket office above the railway station in Terminal 3 or from ticket machines in the station area, which is located on the ground floor.

Trains leave every 10 minutes from the airport to Copenhagen, where trains depart for Odense approx. every 30 minutes.
The journey from Copenhagen Airport to Odense takes approx. 2 hours.

How to reach the venue

The University of Southern Denmark is situated in Odense – only a 10 minute drive from the freeway and 15 minutes drive from the railway station.
The address is Campusvej 55, 5230 Odense M

The conference takes place right inside the main Campus Entrance.
If you arrive by bus, get off at the main entrance of the university, enter via the sliding glass doors, and walk up the wide stairs to the big hall. The conference facilities will be just left of the big stairs. Registration will take place in the conference area as well.

From the freeway

From Copenhagen to Odense: Follow freeway E20 and exit the freeway at the junction of freeway E20 and freeway 9 (approx. 10 km after exit 47) and drive towards Odense, approx. 5 km and turn left on to “Niels Bohrs Allé”. Drive approx. 0,5 km and turn left down “Campusvej”.

From Jutland to Odense: Follow freeway E20 and exit the freeway at the junction of freeway E20 and freeway 9 (approx. 5 km after exit 50) and drive towards Odense. approx. 5 km and turn left on to “Niels Bohrs Allé”. Drive approx. 0,5 km and turn left down “Campusvej”.

Arriving by train

Take the train to Odense Banegård Center.

When you arrive in Odense by train, you can go by taxi or bus to the university.

Taxi

You can get a taxi from the taxi rank behind the main building of Odense Banegård Center (railway station). Look for the signs at the railway station. The journey from the railway station to The University of Southern Denmark takes about 15 minutes.
